Hi Everyone,
We have reviewed this idea, and it’s not something we plan to implement. Even though we are deferring this idea for now, it is still open to votes and comments. We do want to hear your opinion. Thank you for the feedback, and please, keep sharing!

Provide better guidance for using the idea search and create form (web portal) It's unclear that the idea form is an idea submission form and for searching. This could be made clearer by providing better guidance, or splitting the form into two.

Ability to push a custom email from the contributor console and sidebar when capturing an idea or piece of feedback. When capturing feedback on behalf of a prospect or user, I'd like to have the ability for the option to have control of an email notification on save. This way when I capture the feedback I can immediately message the prospect or user that their feedback has been captured and have additional context/control over the communication.

Set Contributor as "owner" of UV feedback object in SF For the Salesforce Feedback & Opportunity Integration, the owner of the UV feedback data object is the Integration's original configurator; it would be preferable to have the contributor that captured the feedback

Tag existing feedback requests It'd be cool to be able to tag exisiting feedback requests in a similar fashion to how you can tag issues/pull requests in github using the @ symbol. This could provide a popup with a preview of the suggestion and a link to go view the suggestion page.

Respect filters in Salesforce section of the grid The analysis report is counting opportunities that are associated with deleted ideas. These should not be reflected in the count when 'deleted' is not selected.
Looks like no filters are respected leading to an inconsistent experience for the aggregated numbers you see at the top of the Ideas Grid.

Add a ‘User interface’ or ‘General feedback’ Category as the categories provided are too restrictive I am posting this and other recent feedback ideas in ‘Roadmap’ not because they belong there, but because there is nowhere appropriate to put them!

Accessibility concerns: form inputs UserVoice uses the following markup pattern for its user idea inputs:
<label> <span class="uvFieldPlaceholder">Label text</span> <input> </label>
…which looks good at first glance until it becomes apparent that as soon as one starts typing in a field,
uvFieldPlaceholder
is hidden with display:none and is therefore inaccessible.Additionally, when editing a previously posted idea, the form <label>s containing the inputs have no text at all.

Items that need tidying up needs a filter to choose a timeframe I love the Ideas that Need Tidying Up section. However, 6 months is a little long for us. Can we get a filter on it to choose our time frame for different situations?

Be able to share an Idea from UserVoice When looking at an Idea, I'd like to be able to click on a button or icon to quickly share the webpage I am looking at.

Integration with Tatango Customer Success teams that use Tatango have their customer context available within the UserVoice Contributor Console.

Improved Markdown Markdown looks different in the Web Portal vs. the Admin Console. It's also difficult to submit idea descriptions with code blocks as there's no markdown help, or syntax guide.
The experience should be uniform across experiences and easier to submit.

Idea Insights (by status) scrolling behavior design improvements It currently has multiple scrollbars that are activated depending on where your cursor is, but is a bit hard to navigate and use effectively.

Report that Displays Which Ideas Have Gone In/Out of Each Status It would be helpful to have a report for our customer facing teams that can display all of the ideas that have gone in and out of each status in a given month. The activity report shows things like "10 ideas in, 6 ideas out" of a particular status, but it doesn't display the actual idea titles. A nice monthly summary of the ideas that have moved through statuses would be nice.

Filter Account Explorer by forum I have some Private Forums that we aren't using but I can’t filter these out from the Account Explorer results.

Provide a lighter URL to go to an Idea There is already a URL provided for a direct access to an idea: //domain.uservoice.com/forums/FORUM/IDNUMBER.
Could you provide a link without having to know the forum where the idea is discussed, like : //domain.uservoice.com/ideas/IDNUMBER ?3 votes -
Navigate Between Admin/Contributor Console and Web Portal Easily You can navigate from Admin to Web, Cont. to Web, and Web to Admin, but you can't navigate from Cont. to Admin, or Web to Contributor easily.
Add functionality to make this navigation between experiences easier.

Email Subset of Subscribed Voters We want to be able to select a particular subset of users when using the "Emailing Subscribed Voters" functionality. Ex: If there are 100 customers who have voted for an idea, we may want to select a subset of 10 to email, but still want that communication to live in UV.
