  1. Increase password length

    Password length is more secure than special chars. I work with a password manager and use 19 chars length passwords - only letters. See image

  2. Real-time updates when viewing the Roadmap

    In cases where a copy of the roadmap is being shared internally and viewable on a display within a common area (for example), it would be nice if the board updated automatically when cards are added, removed, or moved. This would prevent having to refresh the page in order to see recent changes.

    We’ve reevaluated this idea, and it’s not something we plan to implement at the moment. Even though we are deferring this idea for now, it is still open to votes and comments. We do want to hear your opinion. Thank you for the feedback, and please, keep sharing!

  4. Transcribe voice to text

    Provide a way to capture feedback via audio channels (ie Alexa, Google Home, etc) and transcribe the voice to text for submission into UserVoice.

  6. Ability to Create Multiple Internal Roadmaps

    Some customers need the ability to create an internal roadmap per Product Area, Forum, Category, etc. All depends on how many PMs are in the org and how they are split up across the product/platform.

    Sometimes the audience will also differ per roadmap.

  7. Have a Common element for Forum Welcome Message

    All the Forums we have (11 and growing) have a large part of the forum welcome message that is the same. This is so that the forums all cover some basic common messaging we want to give (and stil allow for direct links to the correct forum from the relevant part of our application suite).
    It is tedious to have to adjust each forum individually when a change to this common messaging is needed.
    It would be good if an element of the forum Welcome message could be 'shared' or 'common' across all the forums.

  8. The Ability of Voting Down on an Idea

    We would like to have the ability to "vote down" against a suggestion. This functionality will help us understanding if the number of people that doesn't want that particular feature is bigger or smaller than the number of people that want a particular feature.

    Downvoting is a feature that has been requested over the history of UserVoice. We believe that upvoting keeps the public conversation positive. Furthermore, voting is only one important metric in assessing the end user’s value of an idea.

    We have found that strong, positive signal on a UserVoice idea will be one trigger that a product team will use to investigate the Idea further. Downvotes should not dissuade a product team from taking action if it is the correct strategic move for a product.

    I know that this answer won’t satisfy everyone, but we have thought about it extensively, debated it internally at length over the years, and have arrived at this conclusion.

  9. Update the total amount of subscribers who will recieve a notification of a status update when you change subscription status

    On a suggestion with supporting users, if you click to update the status we will show a number X, "Email X subscribers".

    If you click into a user's request (who is not subscribed) and click the checkbox to make them a subscriber/receive notifications, the number X will not change as expected.

  10. Sort by Plan field (column) in UserVoice

    Right now, you can't sort by the "plan" field in UserVoice. Admins would like to be able to sort by the plan field on the users and accounts page.

  11. Sort by User Type on User's Page

    There's a user field in UV, User Type, but you can't sort by this field. It would be ideal if you could sort by User Type like you can with other fields like "Last Active Date."

  12. Don't dismiss the NPS widget if I reload the page or navigate away

    When the NPS widget appears, if I reload the page or navigate away, I won't see it for another 60 days. Make it remain on the page unless the user provides a score or dismisses it manually (with the close button).

  15. Customize the amount of time the "Thank you" message in the NPS widget lasts

    There is a "Thank you" screen that appears in the widget after you have sent a satisfaction rating.

    It would be good to be able to make this screen last longer, so users don't think anything is wrong.

  16. Give the option to remove attachments when merging

    We have had to do a lot of merging of our top ideas and so those ideas are getting overloaded with attachments that are very similar images.

    While we can manually edit ideas to remove attachments, it would be nice if we could pick and choose which attachments were retained when we perform the merge.

  17. Pull a list of all SF opportunities linked to a specific idea

    It's incredibly important that we be able to pull a report/list of all of the prospects/opportunities that we have linked to a specific UserVoice idea through the Salesforce Opportunity Integration to provide our sales team with a list of prospects to reach out to regarding specific ideas. Just being able to see the numer values in the Suggestions List View is not enough.

    Hey there! We recently launched Account Insights which is powered by a new UserVoice/Salesforce connector. This connector allows you to map Salesforce Accounts to a status in UserVoice called “Prospects” which would allow you to view all ideas associated with Prospects. We’re not yet syncing Opportunity Objects from Salesforce to UserVoice, but are interested in learning more about what you’d do with this information once it’s in UserVoice.

  19. Ideas visible to Administrators and Contributors only

    Allow suggestions that are not visible by the entire public, but live in a public forum. For example, if a large partner is requesting a feature that would only be available as part of a custom agreement, and the functionality would not be for public use. It's possible to enter this idea in a seperate private forum, but would be easier to just flag the idea itself as internal only.
