    Create a report of Requests filtered by Teams configured for the Contributor Sidebar.

    Would be in the following locations:
    Idea → Insights & Activity → Filter to include "Requests" → add filter for Team

  3. Improve search menu for Contributor Sidebar to help mitigate against duplicate feedback

  4. Contributor Sidebar Support with Outlook Desktop

    We would like to be able to use the contributor sidebar within the Outlook Desktop app. However, the contributor sidebar is not completely compatible with Outlook Desktop; When we try to use the Contributor Sidebar with the Outlook browser based experience, the Contributor Sidebar pane does not open within the Outlook browser window, instead the contributor sidebar pops out in a new, different window.

    Hi – we have spent time investigating this and talking with many of you, and have decided to defer from building this for the time being. In our conversations with customers, we came across many different use-cases for custom fields and think we could potentially provide better, native support for some of the common use-cases like “priority” or “impact” rather than attempting to solve several problems with this one feature. We may revisit this idea after providing out-of-box support for the most common use cases.

  7. Capture feedback from customer without an email address

    We would like to capture feedback from people who don't have an email address and either use an alternative identifier (ex. twitter handle, name) or leave it as anonymous.

    For now, this is not functionality we will be implementing.

    There are two primary reasons for this:

    • When someone provides feedback, it’s in the best interest of the company to whom they provided it to follow up, either with status information or to ask for further detail about the problem to be solved or implementation specifics. Without knowing who to contact, product teams are left making assumptions about intent and solution, and often this can lead to a misfire.
    • Perhaps more importantly, without knowing who provided the feedback, product teams are left without context – is the feedback coming from a current customer? A prospect? What role do they fill and what are the jobs they’re trying to complete?

    I do want to acknowledge that there is some value in feedback no matter whether it’s got attribution or not, so this is a decision we may re-visit in the future.…

  8. Contributors see all feedback from their assigned accounts

    Ideally, customer facing teams like Customer Success & Account Management should be able to see all of the feedback that the customers they own the relationship of- in one place

  12. Contributor Console needs export capabilities

    Love the new console - makes things much easier.

    What we really need though is a way for contributors to export lists for different accounts within the contributor console.

    This allows our field reps to more easily review the supported ideas for our accounts during quarterly review business calls.

  13. Follow updates for everything an account supports

    It would be great to follow accounts, so that when an update occurs for anything a user on an account is associated with, I can be aware as well.

  18. View all ideas & internal information from console

    We want our internal teams to be able to easily see all ideas and the relevant internal information (internal comments/statuses etc) through the contibutor console.

    Right now the only available views are ideas that the team member has added feedback to / created or status updates - otherwise they are forced to use the search function.

    We want our business units to be able to browse ideas like someone can on the web portal but see internal information.

  19. Contributor Console missing Contributor Sidebar capabilities

    Contributor console has an option for capturing feedback, which is supposed to be used instead on the classic Contributor sidebar. But the experience is not the same, fields are not the same, and the Private commenting option which was one of the most important features of Contributor sidebar is missing.

    Hey all,

    Thanks for the feedback and support of this idea.

    Upon rollout of the Contributor Console, this feedback helped us identify that we did not make it clear enough that the feedback captured from the Contributor Console is private.

    That is, like with the contributor console, feedback associated to ideas on behalf of customers from the Contributor Console is always private.

    We are working on a few updates to help make this more clear moving forward.

  20. Choose default and required settings for sidebar

    Allow users to chose their own default settings for sidebar. Some people want customers automatically subscribed and some want to require specific fields.
