  1. Customizable list of words to ignore to improve search results

    I've been usability testing a test version of our UserVoice forums before they go live. Our users frequently use the product name as they are describing an issue (e.g., "Please do [some change] to [product]"). Because the idea filtering is based on an OR list of words, as soon as users type "[product]" 2 things happen:

    1. The website speed crawls to a standstill, making it hard for them to continue typing and increasing their frustration.

    2. A huge list of ideas appear that are no longer of any help whatsoever to them when looking for similar ideas.

  2. Allow customization of text on portal site/forums

    Not everyone wants to use words like "Contact Us", "Knowledgebase", or "Feedback" on their UserVoice site - allow customizations of at leas the major titles and buttons on user-facing portal pages.

  3. Allow admins to set the creator on ideas that are captured on a users behalf.

    Allow UserVoice Admins to Submit Ideas on Behalf of a Customer

    It would be very helpful if UserVoice allowed a UV administrator to be able to create a UV suggestion/idea on behalf of a user, as if they submitted it.

    From time to time, it may make more sense for us to go ahead and create a suggestion for the customer versus asking them to do it.

    Currently, UV supports the ability to submit feedback on behalf of a customer, but not the idea itself.

  8. Send daily digest in the morning in my time zone

    The daily digest email comes at the same time for every account & profile, no matter where you're located. It would be nice if it could arrive based on my time zone, or even at a time I specify.

    Create a report of Requests filtered by Teams configured for the Contributor Sidebar.

    Would be in the following locations:
    Idea → Insights & Activity → Filter to include "Requests" → add filter for Team

    Suggestions → Forum/Saved View → Activity & Moderation → Filter to include "Requests" → add filter for Team

  12. Be able to export comments with ideas

    Right now you can only export comments with the general export. And those comments are in a separate file.

    It would be ideal if admins could export ideas along with comments. This would save time (not have to match the two up), and make it much simpler when reviewing exported data.

  14. Create more robust Admin Permissions

    Create admin permissions so that specific admin can only do specific activities. I would like to be able to assign which admin can access which forums as well as who can moderate and do other activities. I would also like to choose who can alter the each section of the settings. Ex. Only certain Admin can change Web portal Appearance and features and only certain Admin can delete Admin.

    E.g. Requirement – Permissions on "email subscribers"
    E.g. Requirement – Permissions on "post status update / email subscribers"

  15. Pivotal Tracker integration

    Right now there's no easy way to integrate with Pivotal Tracker without having to build your own external code to make the integration work.

    The integration built by the third party only works with PHP and some admins have had trouble getting it to work even then!

    It would be great if y'all released your own integration, so that we can easily integrate with Pivotal Tracker whether we use PHP, Ruby on Rails etc....

    Microsoft Power BI (https://powerbi.com/) allows teams to create powerful internal dashboards from many sources. An integration with UserVoice would allow teams to share UserVoice stats and analytics with other stakeholders and teams.
