Add custom questions when creating an idea on the portal/widget When a user goes to create an idea, they only have to give a title. Often Product Teams want to ask their users for additional details and be able to make these fields required.
This allows Product Managers to get the full details they need from users when they post an idea, and limits them needing to follow up for more information.

Ability to see who opened and clicked status emails Admin can see the users who have opened and clicked status emails. Currently, only the percentages are available with no data of which users actioned and contributed to the percentages of opened and clicked. Thank you.

export all feedback related to one roadmap feature Would like the ability to export all feedback associated with an individual roadmap feature. Currently, when viewing feedback linked to a feature in the roadmaps tool you can export all of the users tied to a specific feature from the "Users" tab of that feature, but you are not able to export the details of individual suggestions linked to that feature.

Column reorder not maintained Adding and removing columns from the column picker shouldn't require the user to reorder the columns that are visible again.

Invite users to the platform (similar to a private forum invite) We would like to be able to invite users to join the platform (even if the forums are public.) Similar to how we can invite administrators and contributors currently.

Mentions in Public Comments The new ability to @mention admins within internal comments is great! As a corollary, it would be great if end users could @mention each other in public comments. This would enhance public discussion, allow users to directly interact with one another. Thanks for consideration!

Don't allow Saved Views to have identical names When a duplicate name is attempting to be used for a saved view, notify the user that the name already exists.

Automatically priorize ideas from quality contributors Have a user quality ideas rating, so it can help to filter all the income of ideas. I will priorize my attention to ideas from this users.

Create Segment for user or account fields that are blank/empty Add the ability to create a segment from users that do, or do not have data in a specified field, for example, if "Account Name" is empty.

Create UserVoice ideas from VSO work items Right now, you can push an item in UV to VSO as a work item, and then there is a two way sync between them.
However, sometimes an item starts out in VSO, and you want to then push it to UV so users can vote and comment on it. But here's no way to do that currently.

Improve User Experience for "Vote for Existing Idea" Button on Portal Change out the 'vote for an existing idea' action button to a design, such as a tab view, that is more intuitive for users to look through the suggested ideas to click on the idea vote button instead.

One Authentication for All Sites and remember by default. Every time I switch products, even for the same company (OneNote to Teams) I have to go through the Magic.link again. The Magic.link is not a user friendly authentication process at all. There should be text codes or other methods, if at all. I am now less likely to give feedback simply because of how cumbersome and frustrating this process is. Please fix!

Send email from the tool to all users/certain users Sometimes sending a communication to all the users or a certain group is needed.

Include leads in Salesforce customer traits sync Currently the Salesforce customer trait sync, only syncs user and account traits for customers. Some customers would also like to sync traits for their leads.

This connector allows you to map Salesforce Accounts to a status in UserVoice called “Prospects”. We’re not yet syncing Opportunity Objects from Salesforce to UserVoice, but are interested in learning more about what you’d do with this information once it’s in UserVoice.

Do not permanently delete feedbacks [en][Bing Translate]
Check that when the end user deletes a feedback, it is not permanently deleted but only archived, and develop so that the user can unarchive. And archived feedback is not shown publicly only in the user's profile when it exists but is available to the user himself when he or she accesses the archived page itself.[pt-br]

Integrate with Call Recording / Transcription Software to allow feedback to be captured With the rise of Call Recording and Call Transcription Software like Otter (used by Zoom), Gong.io and Chorus.ai Uservoice should be able to integrate with these platforms which could allow users to say a key phrase like "thats a great suggestion, let me take a note" which would trigger the feedback to be noted.
Because services like these transcribe calls, the transcription could provide context for the Admin to make the next appropriate actions (Create a new idea, add to existing, etc).

Add messaging about the inability to end an idea body with a link in the web portal When submitting an idea from the web portal, if the end of the idea body is a link, the idea will not post and there will be an error. My biggest concern is that there is no messaging about this. The user experience takes them to a blank white page instead of a dialogue box that instructs the user to make a correction. The experience looks broken.Ending a comment with a link is pretty common.
2 votesTo share a little insight here: The vast majority of spam we see submitted to UserVoice sites end in a link. As a quick fix, we blocked postings that ended in a URL but did so without providing an error message. Much of this spam was submitted by a human being, so failing silently would get rid of the spam without revealing a workaround.
We're checking to see whether or not this restriction still makes sense or if there are better ways we can mitigate spam without the undesirable result for legitimate end users.

Track total forum/site logins Provide a report for total user logins - per user (number of times unique user has logged in, or total login duration), and per site (total unique logins).

Designate GUID a the primary identifier over email address In cases where the user information passed in SSO matches the GUID of one user, but the email address of another user, we will match based on the email address and update the GUID.
In certain situations, the GUID data is "cleaner", more unique and it makes more sense to match primarily based on the GUID as to be certain which user will be signed-in and any new data passed with SSO will update that user.
