  1. Give admins the ability to flag an idea as important from the admin console

    Add the ability for admin users to set this flag on ideas already submitted for internal communication processes.

    This can only be done today from the contributor console or contributor sidebar.

  2. Dynamic banner to promote recently launched features based on customer feedback

    When a user lands on the UV landing page I want to be able to display a dynamic banner which rotates through recently released product feedback/features.

    This would help ensure customers see feedback as being readily reviewed and actioned and like feedback is listened to.

  3. Admin invitations should redirect to /admin/signin

    When admins accept invitations, they are redirected to the end-user sign-in on the web portal.

    In some cases, admins aren't able to sign-in with SSO while end users can.

    If the account has the site restricted to SSO authentication, the admins won't be able to authenticate accept the invitation

    We updated our admin sign-up process so admins are now directed to the admin console after creating a login.

  5. Be able to pull total number of ideas created, votes cast or comments made for a specific time frame

    Measuring engagement and activity on a forum over time can be key for customers to track how users are using their forums.

    Customers need to be able to set a specific date range, and see:

    • total number of suggestions
    • total number of votes given or supporters added
    • total number of comments made

    They need this across all forums or to be able to filter by a specific forum.

  7. Ability to enhance search results by creating keyword associations.

    Example: Someone could be providing feedback on the "widget" but the word they use is "pop-up".

    This would be especially helpful for companies that have custom names for functionality that may not be obvious to their users.

  8. Refresh the page after signing in

    If you have only private forums, and a public site, when you sign in, the end user is not presented with the forums they have access to. The home page doesn't display any due to the dynamic sign-in.

    Current users have to refresh the page to see the forums they have access to, on the home page. - This is a poor experience.

  9. Post Public Comments and Reply to Users on Ideas from Slack integration

    UserVoice admins want the ability to post public comments and reply to users directly from slack. That is, when an idea is streamed into a slack channel because of some event, make one of the actions that can be taken on that idea from slack be "post public comment" and/or "reply to user".

  10. Add an AI Agent to consolidate feedback/MCP Server

    AI agents are the rage these days. I think it would be great to ask questions to an AI bot that helps users find relevant ideas, identify target audiences, etc

    For example, I could conversationally ask, "what are the most active ideas in the last 90 days for a particular client segment" and it would automatically provide a prefiltered list and even possible an impact report type export.

    Because our data set is so large, many internal teams find the platform a bit intimidating. This would overall significantly improve usability to consume the data and answer the specific questions…

  11. VOC Phrase Searching (exact match)

    Forwarded from a customer/user: VOC can't do phrase search/exact match using text inside quotations. This is likely resulting in similar ideas being entered because it's too cumbersome to go through 12 pages of results that includes any of the words in the search. Adding phrase search/exact match functionality would be beneficial for the users and reduce the likelihood of duplicate ideas being entered.

  12. Send the entire message history as part of the email notification

    Send the entire message history along with the notification email.

    One of our customers has complained that it is difficult to follow the conversation, because each message is sent in isolation. The full thread is only visible if the user logs into UserVoice, which they generally don't do. Can we send the full message history along with every private message? Thanks!

  13. Ability to Filter/Search by "Created by" (aka original idea submitter)

    I wish there was a way to filter down or search ideas by the "Submitter" or "Created by." I feel like I have looked high and low in the UI and don't seem to have found a easy way to go about this.
    The use case is that when we get feedback from external users and I reach out to them via email to gather more context, I don't even share the Feedback Portal link with them because Content Hub's portal is not public, so they wouldn't be able to access it.

    Great news!


    You can now add "Creator" as a column in the Idea Grid. Additionally, you can filter by one or more creators in both regular and advanced filters, and there's a nice shortcut to filter by Team, where all members of the team will be included if they are the creators of an Idea. This is a great way to see what a particular group in your company has been advocating for.

  14. Widget doesn't stay signed in when used

    When we switch between webpages on a site where we have installed the feedback widget the user is required to sign back in every time they try to use the widget. Is this a product limitation or is it something we have configured incorrectly? If it's a limitation, it would be great to get this fixed.

  16. Allow Admins to Manage Notifications for Flagged Ideas for Other Users

    Admins are subscribed to flagged idea notifications by default. Because of this, everyone in the org gets an email when an idea is flagged as important. This is not ideal. The default should be disabled, and there should be a way to change another users notification status either in the Permissions area or via the API.

  17. Allow users to Export all account feedback from "My Feedback"

    Frequently we get requests to allow users to export not just feedback they have submitted, but also feedback from anyone in their org. They can view it from the portal, but not having the ability to export that data is frustrating for them. Can we get that export added as well?

  18. Accessibility concerns: form inputs

    UserVoice uses the following markup pattern for its user idea inputs:

    <label>
        <span class="uvFieldPlaceholder">Label text</span>
        <input>
    </label>
    

    …which looks good at first glance until it becomes apparent that as soon as one starts typing in a field, uvFieldPlaceholder is hidden with display:none and is therefore inaccessible.

    Additionally, when editing a previously posted idea, the form <label>s containing the inputs have no text at all.

  19. Vote Weighting

    Provide the ability to weight votes whilst still only assigning one vote per person to an idea.

    For example, if a customer votes for an idea this will receive (within the admin view) 10 votes where as if an internal user votes it only receives 1 vote.

    The number of 'weighted votes' should be configurable. When an admin is viewing the idea the weighted and none weighted vote score should be shown.

  20. as a front-end users, Subscribe to roadmap updates for digests (rather than individual "follow" on each roadmap item)

    improve the usability of roadmap for end users:
    the roadmap page for full editor roles has a "subscription" button to get notifications for items that are changing in a digest. This button should be made available to any of our users who have access to the published roadmap. It's good to have "follow" on individual items but it's much better to have a digest of all changes if the users want to.
