  1. Ability to enhance search results by creating keyword associations.

    Example: Someone could be providing feedback on the "widget" but the word they use is "pop-up".

    This would be especially helpful for companies that have custom names for functionality that may not be obvious to their users.

    Hi Everyone,

    We’ve reevaluated this idea, and it’s not something we plan to implement at the moment. Even though we are deferring this idea for now, it is still open to votes and comments. We do want to hear your opinion. Thank you for the feedback, and please, keep sharing!

  3. Show top contributors over time

    See who the top 10 or 20 contributors have been over a time range (month, quarter, year, etc.) so once can give some positive reinforcement

  4. VSTS Create Work Item Form include Additional Fields from VSTS work item

    I would love to be able to configure the VSTS integration to allow for certain fields such as AREA PATH to be set when a new Bug or Product Backlog Item is created since we have numerous teams under a given project and we don't actually use the root area path of the project. Since we have security at the area path levels, this requires multiple steps to get a work item exposed to the right product team in vsts. Thanks!

  5. Be able to send auto-replies to NPS ratings

    Customers want to be able to send an automatic reply when a user submits an NPS rating, so they can ask for more details.

  6. Provide Parent/Child relationship for Merged Items

    Merging ideas is fantastic but to have the idea merged as a comment isn't so good.

    Ideally, the merge should allow for a Parent/Child relationship i.e. both ideas continue as individual ideas rather than a comment of the other.

    Hi Everyone,

    We have reviewed this idea, and it’s not something we plan to implement. Even though we are deferring this idea for now, it is still open to votes and comments. We do want to hear your opinion. Thank you for the feedback, and please, keep sharing!

  8. Be able to set a customized message on the Private Forum invite email as the default.

    Be able to change the welcome message in the private forum invitation process to be the same custom message each time so it doesn't have to be copy and pasted each time if you use the same one every time.

  9. Team Chat Reply In Slack

    It would be great if you could reply on the Thread created in Slack when you @mention someone, and the whole thread is visible in UserVoice also, maintaining history regardless of source.

  10. Templated statuses per forum

    Love the Status Template messages but it would be ideal to configure these per forum rather than UV instance. (Ability to select which forum(s) the template applies to).

    Our use case: Our forums are 1:1 with our products. 50% of our products are managed in-house and have a different message than the other 50% of products which are managed by a Vendor. We prefer to use 1 public status for end-user consistency regardless of who manages the product, but it would be ideal to have separate Status Template messages depending on whether the product team is in-house or external.

    For when ideas are similar, but not the same enough to be merged. You want to link related (small appetite) ideas that can be bunched together to potentially be resolved in a single pitch or update.

    Great for helping with clean up purposes, or large idea grids.

  12. Manually add users to accounts within UserVoice

    As an admin I would like to be able to match a user to an account within UserVoice. Our company has thousands of organisations set up as accounts but might only have the email address of one member of staff who works at that organisation. We get ideas from the people who work at the organisation but unless I export all my users, match them to the account and reupload them I cannot match their idea to the account information.
    It would be extra handy if there was some way of trying to suggest matches to me as the admin…

  13. A two-way Salesforce Integration

    We would like for our customer facing teams that work primarily in Salesforce to be able to stay in Salesforce while having access to the relevant up to date information they need. A two-way Salesforce integration would help in this effort.

  16. Two-Way Slack Communication

    We would like two-way Slack communication. Right now it's pretty much one-way communication from UserVoice to Slack. You can't respond directly to users or comment from Slack to UserVoice. You can capture feedback from Slack to UserVoice but that's it.

  18. Allow one feature to exist on multiple roadmaps/ product areas

  20. Filters are difficult to navigate

    The old UI made it easier to filter through ideas. Additionally it is difficult to navigate through the idea grid to distinguish statuses, votes, and created.

    Thanks for your feedback and support of this idea. We have been able to gather perspective on a number of areas in which our filtering experience on the idea grid can be improved. There is not a single solution that addresses all the feedback we've received. With that in mind, I thought it might be helpful to provide a bit more insight into the specific problems, as informed by the themes of this feedback, that we've focused on solving as we being work on this.


    • It is hard to visualize what filters are applied when working with a filtered view of the idea grid.


    • It is hard to make changes to applied filters directly from the idea grid.


    • It is not obvious that filters can be applied and updated on columns in addition to the main idea grid filter (fly-out from the right hand side of the grid).
