  1. The translated UV widget should map to the feedback forum that is translated to the same language

    We recently implemented the translated UV widget (https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/200955-change-the-language-of-the-widget-ui-based-on-the), but it seems to have a key limitation of only mapping to the first feedback forum created, which is our American English feedback forum. This is a blocking issue as it means that when using the UV widget, users can see the widget translated into another language, but their idea searches come back with American English results and their idea postings post to our American English forums which our language specialists do not monitor. See attached for examples.

  2. allow conversation to continue after idea is resolved (re-open on new comment from users)

    Hey team!

    It's really frustrating to be unable to comment further on a recently closed idea. Sometimes they are closed in error or because of a misunderstanding and you let me write a public comment and then say it can't be saved.

    Better if I could either comment, re-open, or otherwise do something to indicate that I'm not satisfied with the outcome. Otherwise it's not really listening to the voice of the user...

    Thank you for the feedback! This can be achieved by setting your closed statuses to having a user permission of "comment only", which can be found in the public status configurations of settings.

  5. Allow end users to unsubcribe from email notifications with one click from the email

    Right now, when you click "unsubscribe" on one of our email notifications, it takes you to the web portal notification settings.

    This requires you to login.

    It would be better if you could click "unsubscribe" and be globally unsubscribed from notifications for that UserVoice subdomain, without having to login again.

  7. Create Native Microsoft Power Platform Connectors

    Create Connectors for Power Apps, Power Automate, and Logic Apps. This will allow us to use Microsoft NoCode/LowCode tools to User Voice with other Enterprise Applications that may not be native to User Voice.

    Hello,

    This feature is now available. When sharing the internal roadmap via the blue “Share Roadmap” button in the admin console, you now have control over which of these fields are displayed on the internal roadmap.

  10. Disable the escape key when adding links in email

    When replying to a user/customer and you are adding a link in, if you hit the escape key, not only will it close the "add a link" box, but the suggestion window too. So you're losing whatever you already typed.

    I don't know how many emails I had to rewrite because of this recently.

  12. Filter Ideas by number of votes

    I would like to have a filter where I could choose to see Ideas with certain number of votes. For example I want to see only Ideas with 1 vote. I know I can sort Ideas by votes, but with tens of thousands of Ideas in a forum its not very user friendly. Especially if you can see only 20 Ideas per page

    With advanced filtering we've introduced the "# of Total Votes" filter. With this filter, you can identify ideas that meet a vote threshold specified by you in a given time frame. Additionally, you can do the same for comment , importance ratings, and number of accounts supporting an idea.

  13. Ability to filter and sort ideas based on Importance rating (web portal)

    I've had a number of users request the ability to easily view which ideas they've given a particular importance rating to, as well as the ideas they haven't given a rating to yet. If a user could filter by and/or sort ideas by the importance rating they have provided (or lack there of) that would help them quickly reference the ideas that are most important to them and identify ideas they haven't rated yet.

    Allow users to select forum and category when adding suggestions in the feedback widget. We have a few different forums and users are adding duplicate entries into the wrong forum because they only see the categories available for our default forum.

  16. Option to require an email address and message for NPS Ratings

    If a user submits an NPS rating, they aren't required to leave a message or even give an email address. This can be frustrating for several reason...

    For passives and detractors, you want to know why they gave you a low score. Just getting a 0 or 4 doesn't help.

    If they don't give an email address either, you have no way to follow up and ask why.

  17. Contributor entered Feedback should count as a vote

    When I enter a user's feedback using the sidebar and link it to an existing suggestion I want it to count as a Vote for the suggestion linked to otherwise the feedback manager reviewing support for a suggestion is unlikely to spot that these users also have an interest in it (as the feedback is hidden away in the list of activity for the suggestion rather than the count of supporting users.

    This is currently how this feature works; when feedback is provided by a contributor on behalf of a user, that user is counted as a voter for the idea. If this is not how it is working for you, please let us know and we can investigate it.

  18. For Jira Server, don't attribute changes to Jira card to a specific admin

    The "Change by" field on Jira cards, when there is activity on a linked UserVoice idea, will show a specific user on the card and in notifications from Jira.

    It would be better for this not to be the case, since changes on the idea (that in turn update the Jira card) aren't necessarily done by this user.

  19. change sort order of comment/feedback/activity

    In the Idea Details page, allow user to change the sort order of the comments/feedback/activity. Often I would like to see the oldest comments, and I need to scroll to the very bottom of the thread while waiting for lazy loads (since only a few records load at a time).

    Even when the activity is filtered, this can be tedious on ideas with a significant amount of comments.
