Add custom fields for contributors to fill out when capturing feedback from users Allow admins to add custom fields to the Contributor Sidebar, so they can capture additional information on requests captured by their internal teams.
21 votesYou can now configure custom questions in the feedback capture extension!
See detailed information in this article.

Private forum logon page styling The styling for the logon page for private forums is very poor and not very user friendly.
Enable us to configure the HTML of this page so we can design a better experience for our users.

Allow administrators to review and restore users which get automatically banned and purged For some unknown reason a valuable member of the UV community got banned and purged from the system, all his comments got depersonalized, his email removed from the user list — without a trace, without a warning, without a notofication.
If I was not told by the user directly about it — and almost being a witness to it, because it was I who asked him to leave the comment with two harmless links (which I dare not to post here, because your robots are nuts, and I had the same problem before becoming an administrator!) — I’d know nothing…

Show potential duplicates when creating new feedback When a user is creating feedback, they aren't prompted that their feedback may already exist like Stack Exchange or Feeback Hub do. This results in more duplicates and less attention to real problems.

Ability to resize the width of Roadmap columns in table view The columns are much larger than they need to be forcing the user to scroll to see all columns. If we could resize the columns then we could reduce the need to scroll right.
2 votesHi Everyone,
We’ve reevaluated this idea, and it’s not something we plan to implement at the moment. Even though we are deferring this idea for now, it is still open to votes and comments. We do want to hear your opinion. Thank you for the feedback, and please, keep sharing!

Idea details - Ability to set a default for comment type (Public/Internal) Idea details view (NEW)
- Default the radio option of a comment based on the tab selected.
For example - if you click on Internal Comments, the radio option for the comment should default to 'Internal' whereas currently this defaults to Public regardless of the tab you select.
Confusing and risky for users when trying to post commentary that should only be for Admins7 votesHello!
Thank you for your feedback.
On the detailed idea sheet, the default option for public versus internal comments will now always respect the quick filter (Comments and Feedback or Internal Comments) that you have selected.

Change unsubscribe behavior to apply to specific Ideas Right now, when a user unsubscribes from idea notifications, the selection applies globally rather than to just the idea on which they clicked unsubscribe.
The system should be able to let users unsubscribe from just one idea, without affecting their subscription status on other ideas.

Capture Feedback without linking to Idea Is there a way to enter feedback that isn’t linked to an idea/suggestion? An end-user may enter positive feedback that we would want to track and it may not be associated to a request for action.

Hide unused fields from the User and Account record view Not the grid but the single page view.
2 votesFrom the Users or Accounts tab on an idea, you can hide/show each of the columns by clicking the column selector. Check out the attachment for reference.

Custom data on NPS submissions When a user submits an NPS score, Product Managers need the full context on the score at that point in time. This can include the device and OS at the time of submission, their product version, the page they were on, screen size or other internal data points, etc.
This data should be captured and saved against the NPS score so admins can see, not just who submitted on a score and their traits (if they're being collected), but also important details surrounding the context of the score.

Display Ideas held for moderation in Idea Grid The Sidebar displays ideas head for moderation when looking at ideas or for a particular user.
When looking under Users or Ideas in the admin portal, it does not display ideas held in moderation.
Please display Ideas held for moderation for Admins in the Idea Grid.

Make ideas searchable by ID number on the Web Portal As an end user, it would be useful to have an ID number assigned to every suggestion that I can reference in a search query rather than rely on keyword search results in the title of the suggestion

Auto-label feedback from in-app widget There are always several different versions of our desktop software being used. When a user submits a new suggestion, or votes on a suggestion, it would be useful if we could tell which version of the software they're using.

Permanently edit account name for accounts automatically generated by email domain Currently, when the Account Name for an automatically generated account is changed, it changes back to the domain name (@domain.com) whenever a new User is added to the account.
Permanently changing the Name of the account would allow more transparent identification of who the automatically generated account represents.

Templated statuses per forum Love the Status Template messages but it would be ideal to configure these per forum rather than UV instance. (Ability to select which forum(s) the template applies to).
Our use case: Our forums are 1:1 with our products. 50% of our products are managed in-house and have a different message than the other 50% of products which are managed by a Vendor. We prefer to use 1 public status for end-user consistency regardless of who manages the product, but it would be ideal to have separate Status Template messages depending on whether the product team is in-house or external.

The translated UV widget should map to the feedback forum that is translated to the same language We recently implemented the translated UV widget (https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/200955-change-the-language-of-the-widget-ui-based-on-the), but it seems to have a key limitation of only mapping to the first feedback forum created, which is our American English feedback forum. This is a blocking issue as it means that when using the UV widget, users can see the widget translated into another language, but their idea searches come back with American English results and their idea postings post to our American English forums which our language specialists do not monitor. See attached for examples.
We met with a UV rep twice before implementing…
