  1. Sync "Last Active" from User when added to an Account

    Update the account's "Last Active" date each time a user is added to the account, or by checking all of the account's users on a schedule (every 24h, etc)

  2. sort search results in user results and see votes

    When I search as a user from an ideas page for a topic like " layouts" I want to be able to see the vote count next to the idea and sort by highest voted.

  3. View all ideas, tickets, and users related to a specific company account

    You can view all ideas a user has created, but being able to see all ideas a company has created would be even more useful, and help you see what a company as a whole wants vs. just individual users.

    Now that we have the “account” trait, it would be great if we could consolidate all related users, feedback, and support tickets from users belonging to that organization (e.g., “Acme Co.”).

  4. Kanban board for the ideas from end users

    Our users have asked time again and again about having a Kanban board view like the one we in Roadmaps & Features, but the Ideas & Feedback section. So when a new idea gets suggested by a user, a card will automatically be created and we can manage the status, work process and the overview in the same board.

  5. NPS Feedback widget should not send feedback for invalid email addresses

    Today, when i enter email address of dash ("-") or even leave the email field empty, and press send the user gets a message to enter a valid email address. However the feedback is still sent to the server with name of Anonymous. We are using this script:

  6. Subscribe to comments on specific ideas

    Rather than an all-or-nothing setting for receiving comment notifications for all ideas an end user has voted or commented on, please allow the ability to subscribe to certain ideas for comment notification (similar to forum thread subscription).

    When a user comments on an idea, they would (by default) be subscribed to follow-up comments on that idea.

  7. Provide UV User Search in Contributor Sidebar

    I'd like the ability to look up a user by their name and account they are associated with instead of only being able to submit based on an email address.

    Good news: you can already do this.

    When you invoke the contributor sidebar, click the hamburger menu in the upper left of the sidebar. The top margin turns into a search box for users and accounts.

  8. Include user sentiment in the activity report

    It would be nice to be able to see a snapshot of a custom timeframe for user sentiment around status updates that were made across the whole site, versus a specific forum/idea - including the thumbs up/down, any subsequent votes/comments made after the status, the percentage of emails opened/clicked/responded.

    This could give us a more holistic look into how users approach our overall brand/product on top of the more granular look we get per each post.

    Example, living in the Status Updates section of the Activity Report:

  9. Different SSO providers visible for admin sign-on and end user sign-on

    Display employee SSO on /admin and only show end user SSO on the Web Portal.

    SSO providers can now be marked as only visible on Portal pages (suitable for end users) or Admin logins (suitable for UserVoice admins). Visit the SSO settings page, and click on the options desired for each of the different SSO providers that you have configured.

  10. When importing suggestions, add end-user creators as supporters

    When an admin imports suggestions via CSV, they can specify an end-user email address as the suggestion creator. It would be helpful in some cases so have this end-user creator also be added as a supporter and subscribed to updates.

    There's a user field in UV, User Type, but you can't sort by this field. It would be ideal if you could sort by User Type like you can with other fields like "Last Active Date."

  13. Don't allow SSO users to override their email and password

    Being on our SSO implementation, we see a major problem with the
    ability for users to change their passwords and email addresses while in UserVoice. This gives
    the user the impression that they have changed their emails and password in our system as
    well, which of course means they can't login to the site.

    We just rolled out this functionality! If you are using Single Sign On (SSO) as your only option for authentication, your users will no longer see the option to update their email address and password in UserVoice.

    If you using SSO in conjunction with UserVoice’s default authentication, then users will be able to edit their username and email since you allow both sign in options.

    As an admin or contributor, I'd like to get a weekly email with a summary of this week's ideas to help me drive adoption of the web portal externally, rewarding power users for their engagement. For example, total requests per user and account in a given time period.

  15. Option to hide end-user usernames on the web portal

    Sometimes companies don't want their end users names shared. While you can hide this with CSS, it would be nice to simply offer a setting to show or not show the end users name on a forum post/comment.

  16. Make ability to export user data a permission

    For GDPR concerns, we'd like to be able to limit which of our admin users can export User Data to a csv. It's a great feature - but represents a compliance concern for our moderators who don't need access to this data.

  17. If idea is flagged by a user, show it as flagged even if they refresh the page

    If a user clicks "Flag this as inappropriate" on the web portal, the link will show as "flagged". But if they refresh the page, they'll be able to click on the "Flag this as inappropriate" link again.

  18. Allow admins to set the creator on ideas that are captured on a users behalf.

    Allow UserVoice Admins to Submit Ideas on Behalf of a Customer

    It would be very helpful if UserVoice allowed a UV administrator to be able to create a UV suggestion/idea on behalf of a user, as if they submitted it.

    From time to time, it may make more sense for us to go ahead and create a suggestion for the customer versus asking them to do it.

    Currently, UV supports the ability to submit feedback on behalf of a customer, but not the idea itself.

    We have launched a new feature where you can select who is the creator / requestor of an idea when it is submitted by an admin or contributor. In doing so, you can see which end-user originally requested the idea and know who to follow up with as needed.

  19. Minimize emails from admin user custom field picker

    With the new emails that get sent via the Admin user custom field picker, our PMs can easily get overwhelmed by emails. Can we get these as a daily digest, or opt out of sending an email (similar to status updates)?

  20. Intercom Integration

    It would be great to integrate with Intercom so that I can better keep track of all user interactions. I have separate conversations with registered users on Intercom and UserVoice, which can get a little confusing.

    I love how UserVoice keeps track of the users' actions (votes, comments, etc.) but having the ability to align that with the community messages and interactions I am having on the Intercom platform would be amazing.
